Registration, Payment & Cancellation Policy: By marking the necessary section of the registration portal, you acknowledge and agree to the Conditions and the Contract by paying your Booking Deposit or any portion of your Tour's price. If you are making a Booking for someone else, you assure us that you have their consent to do so and to legally bind them to the terms of the Contract, including the Conditions. Every mention of “You,” “Your,” “Guest,” or “Passenger” refers to the individual who makes the Booking as well as every other person included in the Booking. Cancellations: All cancellation requests must be submitted IN WRITING to this office. For cancellations made more than 180 days before departure, the deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a future KTreks program. From 180 to 120 days prior to departure, an administrative fee of $500 will be kept, and a $500 credit may apply to a future Acko Travel program. Any cancellations made within 120 days of departure will result in no refund of the total cruise cost. Cancellation requests will incur the fees mentioned above, along with any additional expenses related to airfare. If Acko Travel Tours cancels a tour due to insufficient participants, all funds submitted by the participant will be refunded. Acko Travel is not responsible for any costs beyond the tour amounts submitted, such as airfare and extra hotel stays. Participants are not required to buy insurance from Acko Travel and may choose their own policy. In Europe, walking is often necessary at many tourist attractions that are inaccessible by vehicle. Due to the remote settings and the pristine environment surrounding many of these destinations (which contributes to the uniqueness of our programs), certain conveniences and comforts that may be found in busier or urban areas might not be available here. We encourage guests to take this into account when selecting their Acko Travel program. Please consult one of our travel experts to review the program details to ensure it is truly a suitable choice for you. Final Instructions: A travel kit from Acko Travel, which includes travel durations, hotel contact numbers, packing suggestions, and more, will be prepared and sent to each participant via email or postal mail about four weeks before departure. Payments Deposit & Initial Registration: Credit card payments are only accepted for deposits at the time of the initial booking. Deposits can also be made using a check, direct deposit, bank wire, or Secure ACH Direct Deposit. Final Payment: The final payment can be made only via check, direct deposit, bank wire, or ACH – Secure ACH Direct Deposit – available for USA banks only: Upon request, we can provide you with a direct deposit ACH form to complete and send back. Please fill out the necessary details on the form and return it to us via fax, mail, or scanned email (this is a security measure to prevent any unauthorized use of your financial information).

A passport is necessary, and it should have a minimum of six months' validity remaining from your return date. If you hold a passport from a country other than the U.S., please check with your airline regarding other passport requirements to ensure you can travel to all the destinations on your itinerary or those you will be transiting through. On our Mekong cruise, guests will obtain visas for Vietnam or Cambodia through the ship as they board. For visas required upon arrival at airports, guests will need to handle these independently. Guidelines will be provided before the cruise departure for completing this process online. For the Amazon cruise, a Brazilian visa might be necessary depending on your nationality. Please check this requirement when booking your flight tickets.

We require a payment of $200 per person before departure to cover all tips for non-Kosher River Cruise personnel. This encompasses local guides and crew members.

All onboard meals are crafted and overseen by our team of master kosher chefs. The offerings feature local cuisine tailored to suit North American palates. All food items and standards for the program will adhere to Glatt Kosher guidelines; all meat served is Glatt, while all dairy products are Cholov Stam, and all breads and cakes comply with Pas Yisroel standards.

Certainly, we can meet the requirements of most special diets and food allergies for various needs. Please notify us at least six weeks before your departure regarding your dietary needs so we can assess if they can be accommodated and have sufficient time to prepare. Requests made at the last minute cannot be ensured. While Acko Travel has invested years in crafting and refining standard menus, we are excited to announce the launch of a new high-protein VEGAN menu, which offers our vegan and vegetarian guests a nutritious and diverse diet. Each meal starts with a generous selection of freshly prepared salads. There is always a vegan starter or a vegan pasta option available, including dishes like Forest mushroom risotto, vermicelli with lemon and artichoke pesto, melazane in carroza, and baked penne with pumpkin. We consistently offer at least one vegan soup, such as Sweet potato and carrot, French Onion Soup, Mushroom Bisque, or Vichyssoise. For the main course, we always provide at least one appealing vegan option that has been crafted to be flavorful and high in protein, including Sweet potato and black bean quesadillas, crusted cassoulet with tofu, squash and quinoa chili, and shepherdess pie with quinoa. Most of our desserts are vegetarian; however, we also feature a delightful range of vegan options, including Linzertorte, Sacher Torte, Peach Melba, and Apple crumble. Enjoy these while adhering to your dietary preferences. If you have a gluten intolerance, we also offer special selections just for you.

In the daytime, relaxed clothing is typical. For dinner, a collared shirt (like a polo) and trousers are necessary for a smart casual look. Don’t forget to pack comfortable shoes for our sightseeing days!
