Registration, Payment & Cancellation Policy: By marking the necessary section of the registration portal, you acknowledge and agree to the Conditions and the Contract by paying your Booking Deposit or any portion of your Tour's price. If you are making a Booking for someone else, you assure us that you have their consent to do so and to legally bind them to the terms of the Contract, including the Conditions. Every mention of “You,” “Your,” “Guest,” or “Passenger” refers to the individual who makes the Booking as well as every other person included in the Booking.
Cancellations: All cancellation requests must be submitted IN WRITING to this office. For cancellations made more than 180 days before departure, the deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a future KTreks program. From 180 to 120 days prior to departure, an administrative fee of $500 will be kept, and a $500 credit may apply to a future Acko Travel program. Any cancellations made within 120 days of departure will result in no refund of the total cruise cost. Cancellation requests will incur the fees mentioned above, along with any additional expenses related to airfare. If Acko Travel Tours cancels a tour due to insufficient participants, all funds submitted by the participant will be refunded. Acko Travel is not responsible for any costs beyond the tour amounts submitted, such as airfare and extra hotel stays.
Travel Insurance: In the current travel climate, protecting your travel investment is crucial. Acko Travel highly recommends that all participants obtain travel insurance to safeguard themselves and their investment from unforeseen circumstances. For those interested in purchasing insurance through Acko Travel (for US residents only), we suggest the travel insurance programs available on our website, linked on the travel insurance page, which provide substantial coverage at a reasonable cost. Please get in touch with us, and we will assist you with the process. For a quote or convenient sign-up, follow the “Travel Insurance” link on our website. Participants are not required to buy insurance from Acko Travel and may choose their own policy.
Medical Declaration: All participants must be fit for travel and should not be traveling against medical advice. Any pre-existing medical conditions that may need treatment during the tour must be disclosed. All travelers must possess adequate medical insurance to cover any expenses related to pre-existing conditions or medical assistance that may be needed during the journey. Participants are responsible for all medical costs, which cannot be covered by Acko Travel or its affiliates.
Disclosure: Please be aware that many Acko Travel programs occur in unique and occasionally exotic and adventurous locations worldwide. In Europe, walking is often necessary at many tourist attractions that are inaccessible by vehicle. Due to the remote settings and the pristine environment surrounding many of these destinations (which contributes to the uniqueness of our programs), certain conveniences and comforts that may be found in busier or urban areas might not be available here. We encourage guests to take this into account when selecting their Acko Travel program. Please consult one of our travel experts to review the program details to ensure it is truly a suitable choice for you.
Final Instructions: A travel kit from Acko Travel, which includes travel durations, hotel contact numbers, packing suggestions, and more, will be prepared and sent to each participant via email or postal mail about four weeks before departure.
Payments
Deposit & Initial Registration: Credit card payments are only accepted for deposits at the time of the initial booking. Deposits can also be made using a check, direct deposit, bank wire, or Secure ACH Direct Deposit.
Final Payment: The final payment can be made only via check, direct deposit, bank wire, or ACH – Secure ACH Direct Deposit – available for USA banks only: Upon request, we can provide you with a direct deposit ACH form to complete and send back. Please fill out the necessary details on the form and return it to us via fax, mail, or scanned email (this is a security measure to prevent any unauthorized use of your financial information).
