Which meals are included in the Kosher Dining package?
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included in the Kosher Dining Package.
How are the kosher meals served?
All meals are served buffet-style.
Is the venue exclusively for kosher guests?
Yes, it will be exclusive for those who purchased the package.
How is the food prepared?
All kosher meals are produced under a Mashgiach, all meats are Glatt Kosher, and some dairy products are Cholov Yisroel,
some are Cholov Stam. They will be labelled accordingly.
Do we offer kosher wine?
Yes, kosher red and white wine will be available for purchase (limited quantities available).
Guests are also allowed to bring onboard a bottle per guest of legal drinking age (21 years), in accordance with beverage policy on Royal Caribbean website.
How many days before sailing can the Fresh Kosher Dining be added?
Space is limited, so we encourage you to book as soon as you make your reservation. Please note that purchases while onboard may not be available.
How will I know I’m confirmed for the Fresh Kosher Dining?
Order confirmation will be provided upon payment and receipt of the cruise reservation, as well as under the guest account on Royal Caribbean website.
Is there a Rabbi onboard during this sailing?
Yes, Rabbi Dovid Weberman will be onboard to provide Glatt Kosher Supervision. Minyanim and Torah Reading are available onboard.
Are all the meals available in all restaurants?
No, the Fresh Kosher is only available in the designated venue, the Solarium Bistro.
Are prayer services offered on this sailing?
Yes, prayer services are offered, and if time permits the Rabbi may participate.
Which Kosher Authorization is overseeing the kosher program onboard?
Rabbi Dovid Weberman of Miami Beach, Florida.
What process does the kitchen go through to make it kosher?
The Rabbi supervises the cleaning, sanitizing, and Kashering.
What onboard is not certified by Rabbi Weberman?
Casino, Swimming Pools, Entertainment, Other Dining Venues, Etc.
Who is preparing the food?
The Royal Caribbean culinary team onboard will have a dedicated group trained in kosher operations to prepare all Kosher food onboard for the sailing.
How does one know which dining rooms are kosher?
There will be Kosher Signage at the entrances. Kosher supervisors will be present.
Is there always somebody around to supervise the food preparation?
There will be a Masgiach Temidi (Kosher Supervisor) on duty. The kosher support team will assist in answering questions from our guests on how the food preparation is supervised.
Where are the kosher ingredients sourced from?
All food is sourced from reputable and long-term suppliers of Royal Caribbean. All meat and poultry are Glatt Kosher.
Some dairy products are Cholov Yisroel, some are Cholov Stam. The food items will be labelled accordingly. Please check with the Mashgiach on board.
